In January 2024, Bill and his most recent version of The Space Heaters (Steve Briggs, Holly Hyatt, Paul Pigat) performed a theatre tour through the Kootenays.
This summer the show plays Victoria, BC's Butchart Gardens amphitheatre on Friday July 26, 2024 and then will be back on tour in October to play the Golden Civic Centre, Key City Theatre in Cranbrook, The Bailey Theatre in Trail, the Memorial Hall in Silverton before heading to the Dream Café in Penticton, Knox United Church in Parksville, Max Cameron Theatre in Powell River and the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam.

Bruce Cockburn's Circles in the Stream album was recorded live in Toronto over two nights at Toronto's Massey Hall in 1977 during a three month Canadian Tour. I played percussion with Bruce and was also commissioned by CBC Radio to record and produce a 2-hour Special Occasion documentary featuring real life on-the-road sounds, interviews, and recordings from the Massey Hall concerts.
One evening in the early 80's I got a phone call, "Hi this is Bob McGrath from Sesame Street." Oh sure. But, it was ... "Bob" ... and we went on to make 5 albums together over the next 5 years. It was a wonderful time for both of us. He was a consummate "New York" professional with a stage and TV career spanning decades. He gave me carte blanche in the studio to arrange and hire the best musicians available and he sang! This was the last one we did together...
